Aquamor™ Soil Blend
Specially designed and mixed to achieve a sandy loam texture with a variety of materials including organics, clay, peat and sand. Enhanced with water absorbent polymer crystals, our Aquamor™ Soil Blend has been proven to reduce water required to sustain plant life by 50% when compared with native Bassendean sand. The blend contains fine grained mineral elements designed to provide long term water holding capacity in the soil structure.
Aquamor™ Soil Blend has been designed to accommodate direct laying and planting into the medium. A unique combination of products has been incorporated to provide long term water holding capabilities such that the soil will provide at least twice the plant available water when compared to sands native to the Swan Coastal Plain. 
AquamorTM Soil Blend contains a number of components including:
- Peat - contains both water retention and organic nutrient properties
- Clay and Ash - fine grain material ideal for increasing water retention and reducing nutrient leaching
- Organic Humus - provides slow release plant available nutrients and the micro-organisms essential for turning a 'blend' into a 'soil'
- Water absorbing potassium-based polyacrylamides - providing a water store facility within the soil profile for the initial development years of planting, these are of major benefit under tight watering restrictions. Also aids in providing 'body' to the soil and reducing compaction issues
